His latest book, The Blood Sugar Solution 10-Day Detox Diet: Activate Your Body’s Natural Ability to Burn Fat and Lose Weight Quickly, promises to fast place readers in the path to wellness. We decided his brain to know how.
What exactly does “detoxing” have to do with losing weight?
Most folks that are overweight are dependent on food. You have to cleanse your body and replace them with healthy ones, if you need to get rid of excess weight. Throughout the last decade we have learned that sugar and processed carbs are essentially as addictive as cocaine and heroin. MRIs show that the same areas in the mind light up just like a Christmas tree when any of these materials are consumed. Can you be a food enthusiast in the event you’re not big-boned?

They are even worse than sweet foods because they do not make you feel as full and the sugar gets consumed very rapidly. That causes a quick spike in insulin, so you get and store more fat.
Is diet soda better?
No. It may even not be better, as it’s been linked to an increased danger of diabetes. Artificial sweeteners activate all of the sweet receptors in the mind and trigger hormones which make you keep fat and slow your metabolism.
